SnowVillage, the Snow Village Between Levi and Ylläs in pictures
Lapland Hotels’ SnowVillage, at Lainio, in the municipality of Kittilä, between the resorts of Levi and Ylläs, in Finnish Lapland, reopens on 25 December 2026. According to Visit Levi, the ice exhibition is open every day from 10am to 10pm until 4 April 2027, for €26 per adult and €14 per child aged 4 to 14. The theme of the 2026-2027 season is announced in the autumn and had not been published as of 12 October 2026.
2026-2027 dates, hours and prices
The snow village reopens on Christmas Day, 25 December 2026, and stays open until 4 April 2027, every day from 10am to 10pm. Entry costs €26 for an adult and €14 for a child aged 4 to 14, according to the Visit Levi listing. Lapland Hotels announces the season’s theme in the autumn; as of 12 October it had not been published, and we will update this listing as soon as it is.
Between Levi and Ylläs
The SnowVillage is at Lainio, Lainiotie 566, between the resorts of Levi and Ylläs, and a daily shuttle links it to both. The Levi Christmas market, at the foot of the slopes, is open from 20 November 2026 to 6 January 2027, closing on 25 December, the day the SnowVillage reopens. Kittilä airport receives direct flights for winter 2026-2027 from London (easyJet), Paris (Transavia), Brussels (Brussels Airlines, Finnair) and Zurich (Edelweiss); by train, VR’s night train serves Kolari, 80 km from Levi, with a connecting bus.

Our tip
