Specialities to try

The flavours that make this market what it is

The chalets serve hot drinks and sweet seasonal treats

with no particular regional speciality

Every year, Disneyland Paris swaps part of its usual look for the Disney Enchanted Christmas season, in Chessy, Seine-et-Marne. From 7 November 2026 to 6 January 2027, Town Square is covered in artificial snow, a 24-metre tree lights up several times a day and the façades of Main Street U.S.A. change appearance under light projections. The atmosphere is that of a theme park in its festive best: a parade, shows and costumed characters, rather than a traditional craft market. The programme is aimed first at families with young children and Disney fans, more than at visitors looking for a Christmas market in the classic sense.

Disneyland Paris at Christmas: the 2026 Enchanted Christmas programme

The parade “Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade” crosses the park twice a day, with the arrival of Santa. On Town Square, the tree-lighting ceremony brings together a choir and Disney characters several times a day. The show “Chantons Noël!”, at Videopolis Theatre, brings together Mickey and his friends; new for 2026, Christmas in Arendelle comes to the World of Frozen, at Disney Adventure World, with the Arendelle Christmas Choir. Artificial snow falls on Main Street U.S.A., and the façades are lit by video projection several times a night.

Santa and Mrs Claus meet visitors regularly until 25 December, based on recent seasons, as do Disney characters in festive outfits, whom you’ll spot along the paths all season long. Eleven food chalets, spread between Fantasyland and Disney Adventure World (the former Walt Disney Studios Park), serve hot drinks and seasonal treats: these are themed food outlets, not a craft market like the ones you find in town. The park has no ice rink this season, and no fireworks are announced apart from 31 December.

Outside the two parks, Disney Village, free to enter, also keeps its shop windows and tree decorated during the season: a possible stop for visitors taking a break without a park ticket, or for dinner before catching the train.

2026-2027 season dates and hours

The season starts on Saturday 7 November 2026 and ends on Wednesday 6 January 2027, with both parks open daily. No closures are announced over this period, which covers the whole of December and the Christmas holidays. Exact hours, opening and closing times by day, are not yet listed on the official website: they are published in advance and can change from week to week depending on expected crowds.

According to available data, December is the busiest month of the year at Disneyland Paris: booking a dated ticket in advance helps avoid unpleasant surprises on both price and crowds. December weekends and the week between Christmas and New Year are the busiest; a weekday in November or early December is calmer.

Disney Enchanted Christmas tickets and prices

A dated 1-day, 1-park ticket costs, for an adult, €68 to €150 in December 2026, and from €63 across the season as a whole (prices checked on 5 October 2026 on the official ticket shop); the child price appears once you’ve picked a date, and entry is free for under-3s. A ticket giving access to both parks on the same day costs more than a 1-park ticket, the supplement varying by date. Prices rise at weekends in December and during school holidays: weekdays outside the holidays remain the best option if you’re watching your budget.

Prices move from one day to the next: the only reference when you book is the calendar on the official ticket shop, and a dated ticket bought in advance remains the cheapest option for a specific date.

Getting there from Paris and the rest of France

Disneyland Paris is reached by RER A to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy station, right at the park entrance: allow about 40 minutes from central Paris. The same station has direct TGV trains from several French regions, which saves changing in Paris if you’re coming from further afield, a handy option for a weekend trip.

By car, exit 14 of the A4 serves the park, with paid parking on site (confirm the price before you set off). Shuttles also link hotels in the area, including those in Val d’Europe, to the park entrance; their exact frequency is to be checked with the hotel. For families travelling a long way, combining the train to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy with a hotel shuttle means no car to deal with for the whole stay.

Travellers arriving in Paris at another station (Gare du Nord by Eurostar, Gare de Lyon by TGV from the south) then connect to the RER A to finish the journey to Chessy, without having to cross the capital by metro with their luggage. The airports, Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle or Orly, are another gateway for families coming from further away, with a connection to arrange to Marne-la-Vallée.

Where to stay and family budget for Disney Enchanted Christmas

Seven Disney hotels, from the most affordable to the most themed, are a few minutes on foot or by shuttle from the parks. The Val d’Europe area, right next door, has a wider and often cheaper choice of hotels, with direct access to the park by shuttle or RER, and a shopping district that’s handy for a meal or supplies outside the parks.

For a family of 4 (two adults, two children), the two adult tickets range, in December, from €136 (2 × €68) to €300 (2 × €150) based on the prices checked on 5 October 2026 on the official ticket shop; the two child tickets come on top, at the price shown by the calendar for the chosen day, excluding meals and accommodation. Meals on site, in restaurants or at the food chalets, add to the budget, as do souvenirs and official character photos. There are no free-entry craft chalets here: Enchanted Christmas is a paid theme park event, designed for a full family day out, with a budget to plan accordingly.

A few pointers to keep costs down and make the most of the programme: go for dated tickets bought online, avoid December weekends if the school calendar allows, bring warm clothes for the outdoor shows, arrive early to get a good spot on the parade route, and check the weather the day before you leave, as the parade and the tree lighting come round several times during the day.

  • The Paris Christmas market is an easy add-on, less than an hour from Chessy on the RER A.
  • The Meaux Christmas market, smaller, makes a Brie-flavoured stop not far from the capital.
  • The Provins Christmas market, in a UNESCO-listed medieval setting, is less than an hour’s drive from Chessy.
  • The RER A links Chessy to Paris, so you can combine the park with a trip into the capital during the same stay.
  • The Val d’Europe hotels also give access to a shopping centre open late into the evening, useful on a rainy day or a rest day.

Our tip

Book a dated ticket on the official website several weeks ahead: prices climb fast at weekends in December.
