This map brings together the Christmas markets listed on the site, in France and Europe: nineteen countries, from Lapland to Andalusia, Christmas parks and activities included. Each pin opens a listing: dates of the 2026 edition, opening hours, how to get there by train or car, specialities to try. We check each listing every year with the towns and tourist offices.
Reach ranks each place by the distance it justifies: “Worth the trip”, with a gold star, for destinations that deserve a weekend far from home, “Worth the weekend” in blue for a region’s major markets, “Day out” in green and “Local favourite” in grey for markets close to home. The “By interest” filter on the map keeps one or more levels, parks and points of interest included; the magnifying glass finds a town by name.
The Alsace, Lapland, Alps and Flanders shortcuts frame the map on one area, and “Locate me” centres it around you. To browse the listings by territory, the region and country pages group them; theme parks and sites that put on a Christmas programme have a page of their own, Christmas activities.
The list, on the left on a computer and in a drawer on mobile, follows the part of the map on screen: visible pins first, ranked by interest, markets and activities mixed together; a chosen area moves to the top. Clicking a name or a pin opens the listing. To plan your stay, the magazine adds itineraries, selections and regional traditions.
